-Woodstock native, Alana "Duchess Of Funk" Orr, was cast as an extra in the major motion picture, "Taking Woodstock" directed by Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). Look for it in theaters on August 14th, 2009!
- Alana played bass on a recording entitled "The Man From Illinois" written by Woodstock singer/songwriter Tom Pacheco at Sertso Studio in Woodstock NY. The Song is about Barack Obama and it is being distributed Nationally.
- Alana will again be on TV soon as the bass player for Wind Up Records artist Megan McCauley
(along with Kristen Capolino on guitar) for four out of five days that Megan will be appearing on daytime NBC's Steve Wilkos Show as part of the
guest band! Airtime TBA.
- Duchess soon to work with teen guitar virtuoso, Kristen Capolino!
