This is a picture of Duchess that was taken from a clip of NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien  during a performance with Grammy Award Winner, Van Hunt. In this clip, Alana is playing a Music Man Bongo bass that was given to her to use for the tour by Van Hunt's manager, Randy Jackson (American Idol).

 

 


This is a picture of Duchess that was taken by her boyfriend / keyboard player, Michael Schirmer. It was originally shot for the purpose of sending to Ernie Ball for them to use as a picture to represent Alana as one of the artists on their list of endorsers. Later, Mike used his extensive knowledge in the media arts to create this incredible composition of the Duchess Of Funk with a flaming firey background. Pretty "hot", huh?
 

 

This is a photograph of Alana taken by her long-time friend Garett Grassi. It appears as though is was taken under water but Garett knows how to work  some serious magic ;) visit his website: www.garettgrassi.com. He and the Duchess have plans to work together in the future as Garett is not only a photographer but a fashion designer as well as an artist and musician.

This is a picture taken of Duchess and her keyboard player, Michael Schirmer on stage at Back Stage Productions in Kingston, NY while performing with the NY Funk Alliance. Michael, founder of MAS MEDIA, super-imposed the background in for a super funkified sample of his seemingly limitless talent in graphic design.


 

Duchess, Paisley & Van Hunt performing at The Roxy in LA for the record release party to celebrate the release of Van Hunt's second album on Capitol Records entitled 'On The Jungle Floor'. After the show, the band was invited to play for Prince at his home. It was a night worth remembering, as the band was accompanied by Van's personal manager, Randy Jackson (American Idol). Duchess is playing one of Randy Jackson's many basses, a Fender Jazz.
